A plaque attached to the base of the town's war memorial. Plaque A dark stone plaque with gold leaf inscription in French, below the insignia of the 45th Division and the 179th Infantry Regiment, as well as crossed French and US flags. The plaque was inaugurated on 11 November 2013. The project was spearheaded by Mr. Jean-Marie Siret

Monument Text:

A la mémoire des soldats américains du régiment "Tomahawk and Peace Pipe" tombés pour la libération de Grandvillers du 30 Septembre au 2 Octobre 1944.

English Translation:  In memory of the American soldiers of the "Tomahawk and Peace Pipe" Regiment who fell for the liberation of Grandvillers from 30 September to 2 October 1944.
