As you take the small road that goes underneath the bridge from north to south, there is a stairway bringing pedestrians up to the bridge level on the left.  The plaque is on the concrete bridge support a few steps up the staircase.   Plaque A stone plaque honoring the 95th Division soldier killed on the bridge during the liberation of Metz on 18 November 1944.
