Don Lassen (505th PIR) Plaque

Details:

This plaque is located on the gray painted brick wall just to the right of the entrance of the December 1944 Museum. It is located below a similar plaque dedicated to the 80th Airborne Anti-Aircraft Battalion. 
Plaque This dark metal plaque features the insignia of the 82nd Airborne Division and the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment. Below these two insignia, there is an English inscription which expresses gratitude to Don Lassen for his work on furthering American-European relations. At the very bottom center of the plaque, there is a small representation of Airborne Parachutist Wings.
