This plaque is located in the center of the small park that constitutes the Rochelinval site. It is situated just to the right of the bronze 551st Parachute Battalion Combat Team plaque on a similar gray field stone. Plaque This small dark metal plaque is attached to a rough gray field stone and features bronze-colored lettering that notes the heroic actions of Sergeant Robert H. Hill who was killed during the 551st Parachute Battalion Combat Team's assault of Rochelinval and his decoration with the Distinguished Service Cross.
