American Cemetery Plaques

This memorial is a series of four plaques that are all located in the Memorial Cloister of the cathedral, on the opposite side of the hallway from the engravings. The plaques are located on pillars of the cloister between large open spaces through which the cathedral's courtyard is visible.  Plaque The plaques are all made of the same white marble and features English inscriptions in red lettering that name the American military cemeteries in Europe and the number of military dead buried at each cemetery. The respective cemeteries and the number of dead are separated by small red stars.
