On the SE roadside of the D67's T junction with the Bois des Tailles et Berlem.

Monument
A vertical stone slab flanked by two low brick facades. The slab bears a white plaque with gold lettering and the northern brick facade a framed sign with pictures, both commemorating the crash of a B-17 in the area during WWII.

Le 29 Janvier 1944, un bombardier Americain est tombe en ce lieu au retour d'une mission sur l'Allemagne. Des 10 aviateurs qui formaient l'equipage, John McCullough, Ned Moore, Sidney Mink, [sic] Marcellus Wecks ont trouve la mort. Cette stele perpetuera leur souvenir.

english translation:

An American bomber crashed here on January 29th 1944 coming back from a mission over Germany. Of the 10 crew members, John McCullough, Ned Moore, Sidney Mink, and Howard Weeks did not survive. This monument will preserve their memory.
