Henry W. Davis served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II as a Second Lieutenant. He entered the service in Connecticut. On 4th of June 1944, he was killed while piloting his P-51B (43- 6520) WR W " Woody's Maytag " when he was hit by light flak near St Quentin. He is now buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.
