The Liberation Memorial at Imbrechies, officially called “Tombe du 1er Soldat Américain tombé en Belgique” (Grave of the First American Soldier Fallen in Belgium), is located at the entrance of Imbrechies, a small village in the municipality of Momignies near the French border. The site is situated on the northeast outskirts of the Momignies, about 4.9 km from the town hall.
