This is the crash site of the B-17 #42-5792 “The Mugger.” The site is located about 3.7km northeast of Malicorne-sur-Sarthe towards La-Suze-sur-Sarthe. This is on the borders of the communes of Malicorne-sur-Sarthe, Saint-Jean-du-Bois, Noyen-sur-Sarthe and Mezeray.
