Details:

On a farm road SW of Heufurt. A memorial site consisting of a wooden bench in a graveled clearing with a brick footpath leading to a stone monument with a metal and plexiglass frame.  The site commemorates the emergency landing of B-17 AC44-6612 at the site.  German text tells the story.  All crew members survived the incident and the war.  (MACR 11196)  Video of the crash aftermath at:
