A vertical rectangular, granite block monument, inscribed in English text, incised in yellow lettering on the front. Printed in colors on the top, is the USAAF roundel (1943-1947), followed by info about the group’s activation and deactivation dates, combat commanders (1943-1945), squadrons assigned, and support organizations.
