Grave: Block A. Grave 196. Isolated Burial


A standard Commonwealth Grave Commission (CWGC) inscribed gravestone.


 

Born on July 20, 1919 in Wisconsin. Joined the British RAF and served with the 133rd Eagle Squadron. Died in Mid air collision in P8438 with P/O Wilbert A Arends in P8595 nr Epworth, Lincolnshire baled out but did not survive. it appears that P/O Whedon landed safely then collapsed and died on the ground. Killed in Action
