Affixed on the outside wall, above the main entrance to the tower.


Plaque

A rectangular, slate plaque, inscribed in English in white lettering, dedicated to F/O Raymond E. King whose aircraft crashed into the sea near Clacton, Essex in 1945. The plaque is also dedicated to all who died for freedom from 1939-1945. Another plaque for F/O King is located at Albany Gardens in Clacton-On-Sea.
