Isolated Burial


A standard upright US Military white inscribed gravestone.

 

Private First Class Owen Prior served in the 772nd Military Police Battalion during he Korean War.  He was killed during a river crossing operation near Samnang-jin, Korea on July 21, 1952.  Prior was from Ballinamore, County Leitrim, Ireland and entered service with the US Army from Rhode Island. He is buried at Corraleehan, St Brigid’s Graveyard, County Leitrim, Ireland.
