One of 3 similar sandstone monuments on a concrete pedestal with a bronze plaque commemorating the 4th Infantry Divisions actions in WWI. 

This monument is in memory of the men of the 4th Division of the United States Army who made the supreme sacrifice during the great Aisne-Marne Offensive from July 18 through August 6 and subsequent operations in the St. Thibaut Sector from 7 through 12 August, 1918. The 4th Division advanced over 19 kilometers and crossed the Vesle River during this fighting. ERECTED BY: NATIONAL 4TH INFANTRY (IVY) DIVISION ASSOCIATION
