Under the memorial, inside the crypt. Isolated Burial The memory of First Lieutenant Joseph Volney Wilson, an American volunteer pilot of the Lafayette Escadrille. He was buried elsewhere and moved to his final resting place, on October 23, 1963. This site is now a cenotaph. He is a members of the Lafayette Flying Corps Who are Commemorated at the Memorial Cemetery but Buried Elsewhere.
