A stone memorial cross featuring a central rectangular white plaque inscribed in German, listing the names of the seven crew members of B-24J Liberator #42-51871 who were shot down and killed in a crash in the area on February 16, 1945. Below it, additional plaques display the names of the two surviving crew members.
