A rough stone monument bearing a bronze plaque with French text. The plaque contains the insignia and nicknames of the US 1st, 30th, and 99th Infantry Divisions that liberated this area in September 1944 and then again during the Battle of the Bulge.

En hommage aux GI’s De la 1st, 30th, et 99th Inf Divisions Of the 1st United States Army Qui, le 11.09.44 ont libéré Notre région et ont participé A la bataille des Ardennes Au cours de l’hiver 44-45 Les amitiés américano – Aubeloises 11.09.1994 

ENGLISH TRANSLATION: In honor of the GI’s of the 1st, 30th, and 99th Infantry Divisions of the United States First Army who, on 11 September 44 liberated our region and participated in the battle of the Bulge during the winter of 44-45. American – Aubel friendship, 11 September 1994.
