Monument

A memorial to Alabama's 167th Regiment consisting of a large bronze sculpture by James Butler in the middle of the clearing, and explanatory panels behind it. The monument was dedicated on 12 November 2011.

In Filial Piety, Nimrod Thompson Frazer erected this monument in the name of his father Sgt. William Johnson Frazer of Greenville, Alabama, a Member of the D Company Assault Force.

He was wounded here and received a Purple Heart.

He never forgot his fellow soldiers who lost their life on French battlefields.
