A 2 meter tall sandstone monument standing on rectangular concrete base. Semicircular at the top, the monument has a plexiglass plaque mounted on it with a white background, blue lettering, and a red line bordering the text. 
This monument honors the men of the 377th U.S. Infantry Regiment, 95th Infantry Division - the "Ironman of Metz" who, on November 16, 1944, liberated the city of Woippy from German forces on their way south to the city of Metz.
