Pvt Richard H. Evans and 35th Infantry Division Plaque

Details:

The plaque is located on the east side of the church near the main entrance. Plaque The bronze plaque has embossed text in both English and French, as well as unit insignia. The plaque was innagurated on September 16, 2001, the day following the 47th anniversary of the liberation of Nancy by the 35th Infantry Division. It was financed and placed at the site by Espace de Memoire Lorraine 1939-45 and the associations of Espace de Mémoire Lorraine 1939-45, Anciens Combattants of Flavigny and Souvenir Française of Flavigny, and the commune of Armaucourt.
