On the west side of the street across from #20.  Monument

A sandstone stele with a black marble plaque and gold leaf incription with French text.  The insignia of the 2nd Armored Division is on the plaque, and a bronze crucifix is below.

Monument Text:

A la memoire du l'equipage du char americaine de la 2nd Armored Division commandé par le Capitain Aquila Calhoun, tombé au champ d'honneur le 31 aout 1944.  La commune de Bresles reconnaissant.

ENGLISH translation:  In memory of the tank crew of the 2nd Armored Division commanded by Captain Aquila Calhoun, who fell on the field of honor on 31 August 1944.  The town of Bresles remembers.
