This monument is located directly off Rue Henerecht at the intersection of Rue des Romains, following a small tiled pathway to the monument.
Monument The monument itself is a small metal plaque on the side of a stone wall, surrounded on both sides by shrubbery. The plaque is just to the right of a cement inscription at the center of the stone wall. The plaque honors the soldiers of the 5th US Infantry division and specifically Private Louis Schwall. Pvt. Schwall was KIA on December 25th, 1944 in a charge led outside of Haller. Louis Schwall was the father of Brian Schwall.
The plaque bears the insignias of U.S. Veterans Friends, Luxembourg and the village of Waldbillig.
