Details:

The monument can be found following the brick pathway from the road, with plaques on the left and right sections of a wall, concrete map embedded on the ground and the sculpture in the middle.
Monument A stone wall, about 6 ft in height, divided in two sections with a bronze plaque on each. The Left plaque is in honor of the 6th US Armored Division in the Battle of the Bulge; the right plaque bears the village insignia of Heinerscheid. The sculpture in the middle is atop a cement base in the shape of a five point star and has metal frames reaching out on each point. On the ground in front of the wall is a faded cement map showing the advance of the 6th Armored Division.
