1Lt Harry Winham Monument
Details:
On the north side of the intersection.
A rectangular stone stele bearing a rectangular plaque containing a printed commemoration message written in French. On the center of the plaque is the photo of 1Lt Winham. On the top corners of the plaque are the US Army Air Corps and 9th Air Force insignias. After shooting down an Fw190, 1st Lt Winham's aircraft (P-51 Mustang #43-103338) crashed in flames near the Bonneval farm. He was killed instantly. He was first buried in Charleval before being transferred to St Avold Lorraine American Cemetery.

Cette stéle a été érigée en mémoire di First Lieutenant Harrie Albert Winham,
pilote de l'United States Army Air Forces, tombé le 25 juin 1944
à proximté de ce lieu, à board de son P-51 Mustang.
Il fut abattu à la suite d'un combat aérien.
Il est mort pour la Liberté.
Cette stéle a été érigée le 27 août 2016 grâce à la Commune de Charleval,

This stele was erected in memory of First Lieutenant Harrie Albert Winham,
pilot of the United States Army Air Forces, who fell on June 25, 1944
in the vicinity of this site in his P-51 Mustang.
He was shot down in a dogfight.
He died for freedom.
This stele was erected on August 27, 2016 thanks to the Commune of Charleval,
