Located on the upper most northern rampart of the fort.

Museum

A museum dedicated to the Allied landings during Operation Shingle- the Anzio landings in January 1944.

 

Most of the displays in the small museum include information, maps, equipment and uniforms of the US participation in the battle.  A small corner is dedicated to the VI Corps Commander- John P Lucas.  Other displays also detail American soldiers and units with some interesting anecdotes.
