Monument

A light brown, hewn stone monument with a rectangular plaque attached on the front. The plaque has a darker brown color and is inscribed in French text. On the center of the plaque is the US Army seal surrounded by 5 insignias of the XII Corps divisions which are the 80th Infantry Division, 35th Infantry Division, 26th Infantry Division, 4th Armored Division, and the 6th Armored Division. Below them is the dedication message. The monument honors the American XII Corps who liberated the town on December 5, 1944.
