A large boulder, about 6 feet tall, with three plaques attached to the front.

The monument remembers the liberation of the town of Horažďovice by the 4^th Armored Division “Breakthrough”, Combat Command B, and 90^th Infantry Division “Tough Ombres” on May 6, 1945.  Both units were part of XII Corps of George Patton’s US Third Army.

The Center Plaque text is written in Czech and reads:
