On the east side of the Pleudihennais war monument.


Monument

A smooth rectangular stone plaque, affixed on a rectangular stele, inscribed in French text in yellow lettering. Printed image on the top of the plaque is the insignia of the unit. The plaque commemorates the three American soldiers of the 15th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron, who fell during the liberation of the commune of Pleudihen. The monument was unveiled on June 18, 2011. An info sign nearby was placed pertaining to the unit's role during the liberation.
