At the west side of Parliament Square by Little George Street Statue The statue of Abraham Lincoln was erected in 1920 and is a copy of the huge 1887 Standing Lincoln in Chicago's Lincoln Park by Augustus St. Gaudens. The original is sometimes called the finest portrait statue in the United States. Another replica stands outside Lincoln's tomb in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, IL.
