B-17 (42-31445) Plaque
Details:
A rounded-rectangle metal plaque inscribed with a commemoration message in French and six names. Printed images on the plaque are the B-17 and two US flags. B-17 #42-31445 crashed into the town of Saint-Saens after being shot by flak near Le Treport, France. The incident resulted in the deaths of six crew members, four were able to bail out but were taken as prisoners.
