In the middle of the plot apart from the rows of headstones is a concrete cross with a bronze plaque Isolated Burial A concrete cross with a bronze plaque marking the burial place of Sgt. Douglas Urquhart.  A memorial stone is also in the Plain Cemetery in Ashfield, MA next to his parent's graves.
