To the right rear of the Ben Franklin statue. Plaque A bronze plaque on a stone base commemorating the Battle of Yorktown and the French soldiers who died there.

Monument Text:

In appreciation of the service of these men who made the supreme sacrifice in the Yorktown campaign 1781. This tablet is erected by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, October 19, 1931.


The Plaque then lists the names of the French soldiers that died in the Battle of Yorktown.
