Details:

In a small recreation area on the Moselle River off of the D657.  About a kilometer north of Corny-sur-Moselle.  Immediately on the eastern side of the river.  Near a marker for PFC Jerome Deneen. Marker


A one meter high rectangular yellowish stone monument with a "Red Diamond" - symbol of the 5th Infantry Division that marks the spot where the 5th Infantry Division crossed the Moselle River with the support of the 7th Armored Division to create the Dornot Bridgehead.
