2nd Infantry Division Boulder Marker
Details:
On the side of D28 approximately 1km southeast from the town of Xammes, France. Marker
A concrete boulder, 1 meter in diameter, with a five pointed star in relief with a small inscribed brass plaque in the center. An information sign sits next to the boulder dipicting the 2nd Infantry Division actions in the area during the Battle of St. Mihiel.
This boulder is one of 23 such markers which delineate the limits of advance of the 2nd Infantry Division (Indianhead) in the area.
