Larochette Liberation Memorial

The Monument is located directly off Rue Medernach, on the right side of a small garden area next  to a gas station. Monument This monument commemorates the 50th anniversary of US liberation of the village Larochette during the Ardennes Offensive. The monument itself is a large stone set in the ground with a metal plaque commemorating the actions of the US army. The stone itself is 4 ft. (1.2m) tall and situated between two flagpoles. At the base of the monument one can find a flower box. On the plaque there are the insignias of Larochette village and of the US Army. The plaque text is in French.
