Monument
A rough hewn stone slab bearing a black plaque with gold lettering commemorating the American aviators that died in the area during WWII.


The monument remembers the crew of B-17 (42-5219) of the 364th Bomber Squadron, 305th Bomber Group that crashed nearby on May 17, 1943.
