Between the stop sign and the large tree at the merge of 331/Um Aale Wee and Op Der Heck.  Monument The memorial is on an elevated stone terrace surrounded by a support wall. There are both English and French texts on a stone slab, flanked by columns.  This memorial commemorates actions on January 6th 1945, when the 80th Infantry Division launched a limited object attack across the Sure River and liberated Dahl. 


Monument was rebuilt in 2020, new photos included below, along with the orginals.
