When Edward Leo Manley was born on May 26, 1900, in Skaneateles, New York, his father, Henery, was 29 and his mother, Myra, was 23. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Wagoner in Supply Company , 28th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on July 18, 1918 and is now buried in Oise-Aisne American Cemetery, Seringes-et- Nesles, France.
