Percy A. Dean was born in 1897. He enlisted in the Army on May 1, 1917 and was assigned to Company I, 22nd Infantry. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in Company L, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on October 7, 1918 at Argonne Forest in France and is now buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Oneida, Madison County, New York, USA.
