Theron Edward Stoll was born on October 21, 1924 in Netcong, Morris County, New Jersey. He was the son of George Russell Stoll and Myrtle Bird Stoll. He served in the 363rd Infantry Regiment, 91st Infantry Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on April 27, 1945 during the battle in the area of Ponzalla, Italy and is now buried in the Florence American Cemetery, Impruneta, Italy. He also has a cenotaph located in Stanhope Union Cemetery, Morris County, New Jersey, USA.
