Carl H. Wooden, Jr. was born in 1922. He enlisted in the Army on January 31, 1941, prior to the war, in Buffalo, New York. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Driver and also as Single, without dependents. He resided in Erie County, New York prior to the war. Carl served as a Private First Class, Company C, 16th Infantry, U.S. Army during World War II. He was Killed in Action in 1944 and is now buried in Buffalo Cemetery, Cheektowaga, Erie County, New York, USA.
