Marion A. Parker was born on May 20, 1925 in Georgia. He was the son of James Henry Parker and Lillie Walker Parker. He enlisted in the Army on April 30, 1943. Marion served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Sergeant in Company B, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on July 11, 1944 at the age of 19 and is now buried in West View Cemetery, Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia, USA.
