Michael Grega, Jr. was born on March 23, 1925 in Edenborn, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Grega. He entered the armed forces on April 2, 1943. Prior to his Army service, he was employed by Union Supply Compnay at Filbert. Michael served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on June 13, 1944 in France at the age of 19 and is now buried in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Oliver, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, USA.
