Clarence A. Uzee was born on March 25, 1918. He was the son of Adam Uzee and Dovida Alix Melancon Uzee. Clarence served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Staff Sergeant in the Engineers of the 1st Infantry Division. He died on June 6, 1944 during the invasion on Omaha Beach, France at the age of 26 and is now buried in Holy Savior Church Cemetery, Lockport, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, USA.
