Frank John Kvasnosky was born on October 19, 1919 in Cairnbrook, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. He was a son of Steve and Mary Kvasnosky. Frank John Kvasnosky served as a Private 1st Class in the 1st Infantry Division, United States Army during World War II. He was a Military Policeman. He was killed in action at Omaha Beach while directing landing craft ashore during the invasion of Normandy on D-Day, June 6, 1944. Frank is now buried in Gettysburg National Cemetery, Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania, USA.
