Allen B. Colfry, Jr. was born on July 25, 1921. He served in the 11th Bomber Squadron, 341st Bomber Group, Medium as a Second Lieutenant during World War II. He died on May 25, 1945 at the age of 23 and is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA. 2Lt Colfry was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
