FROM FIND A GRAVEMaj. Gen. Ruhlen, graduate of the United States Military Academy (1935). Veteran of World War II. Commanded the Third Armored Field Artillery Battalion, 9th Armored Division. Participated in the defense of Luxembourg, Bastogne and the capture of the bridge over Rhine River at Remagen. His last post was Deputy Commanding General, Fourth United States Army and, concurrently, Commanding General, Fort Sam Houston.
