Clark Wilson Flack was born on October 18, 1894, in Bloomville, Ohio. He was the son of Charles A Flack and Cordelia Sechman Flack.

Clark served in the 154th Infantry Regiment, 39th Infantry Division, as a Private during World War I. He died in France on September 17, 1918, and is now buried in the St. Mihiel American Cemetery, Thiaucourt, France. Pvt Flack was one of the 171 American servicemen who trained at the Third Aviation Instruction Center in France and died between 1917-1919.
