Edward Rand Richter, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was born on October 27, 1884. He served in the US military as a Second Lieutenant during World War I. He was killed in an airplane accident in France on October 4, 1918, and is now buried in the Forest Home Cemetery, Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, USA. 2Lt Richter was one of the 171 American servicemen who trained at the Third Aviation Instruction Center in France and died between 1917-1919.
